It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Granted that is the Grant farmette in whiter years…there isn’t any snow yet in 2011! Other than that, it’s going well. The porch is wrapped in greenery and bows and lights. It’s true I just had one strand of lights die last night, but I have replacements. The inside of the house is decorated too and the tree is up. Baking and wrapping hasn’t started yet, but that sort of lateness is actually right on schedule for ol’ TG. Gifts to in-laws are in the hands of the Post Office and family gifts can wait for delivery until the family party after Christmas.
Still, even though I’m so far ahead in prep, I’m going on blogcation until Jan. 2. (I stole that awesome blogcation word from Ciara Knight…thanks Ciara!). I need to spend some time keeping my kids from exploding in Christmas joy. And walking the dogs…that puppy has way too much energy.
Merry Christmas! And may you all have a very blessed New Year.
I need a blogcation too and this is the first time I’ve ever even left a message on a blog!!!
Welcome to the craziness!
And merry christmas to you and yours, tess.
I love the term, blogcation…Unfortunately I take too many of these on my blog. New Year’s Resolution–blog more consistently. Hope you had a terrific Christmas. Love the picture of your farm. Wishing youa blessed, Happy New Year 2012!
That looks like a little piece of Heaven. I hope you had a fantastic holiday, and enjoyed your blogcation. 🙂
I had a great holiday, thanks. I’m ready for the New Year though; I have lots planned.
